- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually add in the flour until the mixture forms a dough.
- Press the dough into the bottom of a greased cheesecake pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- While the crust cools, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a festive touch, add sprinkles on top before chilling.
