- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cubed butter and mix until crumbly.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
- Roll out the dough and cut into biscuits.
- Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- While the biscuits are baking, mix sliced strawberries with sugar and let sit.
- Once biscuits are cool, split them and layer with strawberries and whipped cream.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For best flavor, use fresh strawberries.
- You can substitute buttermilk for heavy cream.
