- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then chop into small pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, spinach, garlic, chopped turkey bacon, mozzarella, and Italian seasoning.
- Cut a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the spinach mixture.
- Season the outside of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place the stuffed chicken in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite herbs before stuffing.
- Feel free to substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon if desired.
