  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup baking soda (for boiling)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  4. Meanwhile, mix spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mozzarella, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Divide dough and roll into strips, filling with the spinach and artichoke mixture.
  7. Shape into pretzels and boil in a baking soda solution for 30 seconds.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
