Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and while it’s still hot, add it to the skillet with turkey bacon and garlic.
- Quickly pour the egg mixture over the pasta, tossing to combine, allowing the heat to cook the eggs slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra cheese if desired.
Notes
- For a creamier sauce, add a splash of reserved pasta cooking water.
- Don’t overcook the eggs; they should be creamy, not scrambled.
