  • 1 pound red beans
  • 4 slices turkey bacon

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse and sort the red beans, then add them to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble and add to the slow cooker.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, paprika, cumin, and chicken broth to the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until beans are tender.
  5. Stir in the cooked rice before serving. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
