- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer the rice and then place the seared chicken on top.
- Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and rice, making sure it’s evenly coated.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- For extra flavor, you can add herbs such as thyme or rosemary.
