Ingredients

- 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 2 cups diced chicken ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Gradually add milk and cook until thickened.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by half of the chicken ham and half of the cheese.
- Pour half of the white sauce over the layers and repeat.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle some herbs on top before baking.
