- 2 pounds russet potatoes
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, half of the turkey bacon, and half of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Pour the cream mixture over the layered potatoes.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
