Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, pumpkin spice, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, maple syrup, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Cook turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then chop into pieces.
- Fold the bacon into the batter.
- Scoop batter onto the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm with additional maple syrup if desired.

- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter.
