Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

- In another bowl, mix the sugar, oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving.
