- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture over the crust and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set. Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of salt to the pumpkin mixture.
- These bars are best served chilled or at room temperature.
