- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Press the dough into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, then mix until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture over the crust in the pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still gooey.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream.
- This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
