Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- In another bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.
- Add eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes.
- While the bread is cooling, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating cream cheese and butter until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Once the pumpkin bread has cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting generously on top.
Notes
- For a spicier flavor, you can add chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
- Make sure to let the bread cool completely before frosting.
