- 2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- In a large bowl, coat the beef pieces with flour.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and brown on all sides.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Stir well and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 1 hour until the beef is tender.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the beef in the Worcestershire sauce for a few hours before cooking.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
