- 2 pounds beef tips
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add beef tips and cook until browned on all sides.
- Stir in beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 1 hour.
- Remove the lid, and let it simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
- To thicken the gravy, mix flour with water and stir into the beef mixture.
- Cook for a few more minutes until the gravy thickens.
Notes
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
