- 8 ounces pasta
- 1 pound flank steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add flank steak and sear until browned. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add onions and bell peppers; sauté until softened.
- Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add beef broth and cream cheese to the skillet, stirring until smooth.
- Slice the rested steak and add it back to the skillet, along with the cooked pasta. Mix until combined and heated through.
- Top with provolone cheese and allow to melt before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider marinating the steak.
- You can substitute other types of cheese based on your preference.
