- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, peanut butter, and vanilla together.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until just blended.
- Pour the batter into a greased sheet pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting.
Notes
- For extra peanut flavor, add chopped peanuts on top.
- This cake can be made a day in advance.
