- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the Parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Notes
- For extra crunch, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve with a side salad or pasta for a complete meal.
