Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise overnight at room temperature.
- The next day, preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet and stretch it into a rectangle.
- Drizzle olive oil on top and use your fingers to create dimples in the dough.
- Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and herbs if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Let the focaccia cool before slicing.
- Can top with various ingredients, like olives or cherry tomatoes.
