- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles broken
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until soft.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, broken lasagna noodles, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until noodles are cooked.
- Stir in ricotta cheese until melted and well combined.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top, allowing it to melt before serving.
