Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pot, add olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella.
  6. Garnish with crumbled turkey bacon and remaining mozzarella before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes.
