- 8 ounces lasagna noodles
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced chicken ham
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same pot, add olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella.
- Garnish with crumbled turkey bacon and remaining mozzarella before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
- For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes.
