Ingredients
Scale
- 200g dark chocolate
- 300ml heavy cream
- 100g sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate over simmering water.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Fold in the melted chocolate and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into the mixture.
- Pour into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate.
- Feel free to add a pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate taste.
