- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart and cooking until browned.
- Stir in shredded carrots and green onions; cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and brown sugar; mix well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Toss cooked noodles with the beef mixture until combined. Serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
