- 1 pound flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Add the beef and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and sear until browned.
- Add the green onions and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes.
- Serve with steamed vegetables.
