- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour and diced butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the dough into muffin tin cups to form crusts.
- In another bowl, mix sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Fill each crust with the apple mixture.
- Top with additional crust if desired and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
