- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 jar marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined.
- Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In a large skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Add cooked meatballs to the sauce, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of red wine to the marinara sauce.
- These meatballs can be served on spaghetti or in meatball subs.
