- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup oats
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine the sliced apples with cinnamon and vanilla extract, then spread over the crust.
- Dollop the mascarpone cheese over the apples.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture and oats on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add chopped nuts to the crumble topping.
- Serve warm with ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
