- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and melt the butter. Add the onions and sauté until they are translucent.
- Add the broccoli, vegetable broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Close the lid and set to high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Once cooked, perform a quick release of the pressure. Stir in the milk and flour until smooth.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For a thicker soup, you can blend half of the mixture before adding the cheese.
- Feel free to add other vegetables for additional flavor.
