Instructions

  3. Add the chopped onion, carrots, celery, and minced garlic.
  4. Season with thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer until the chicken is cooked through, about 1 hour.
  6. Remove the chicken, shred the meat, and return it to the pot.
  7. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions.
