Instructions
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in the bread machine. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Select the dough setting and let the machine do the work.
- Once the dough is ready, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, adding the baking soda.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and shape them into bites.
- Boil each piece in the baking soda water for about 30 seconds before transferring to a baking sheet.
- Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

- These pretzel bites are best served fresh but can be stored for a few days.
