- 2 cups whole wheat pasta
- 1 pound boneless chicken breast
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the chicken breast and cook until no longer pink, about 6-7 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some red pepper flakes.
- You can substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for a different protein.
