- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef, onions, and garlic; cook until the beef is browned.
- Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
- Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- Combine the beef mixture with the noodles and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some fresh parsley on top before serving.
- This dish can be made ahead and reheated.
