- 2 cups green beans, trimmed
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the green beans, potatoes, soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle crispy fried onions on top. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the onions are golden.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or peas.
