Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut tomatoes in half and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside.
  4. Add chopped onion and garlic to the bacon grease and sauté until soft.
  5. Roast tomatoes in the oven for 30 minutes.
  6. Combine roasted tomatoes, chicken broth, sautéed onion, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper in a pot.
  7. Simmer for 15 minutes, then blend until smooth.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and garnish with crumbled turkey bacon.
