- 1 pound chicken, cut into pieces
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

Instructions
- In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add chicken pieces and brown them on all sides.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, scallions, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy your comforting soup.
