Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the potatoes in halves and place them in a baking dish.
  3. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  4. Pour the garlic butter over the potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
  5. Bake the potatoes for 25-30 minutes until tender and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  7. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add the steak bites. Sear until browned on all sides.
  8. Once the steak is cooked, mix it with the potatoes and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the steak while cooking.
