- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 pound baby potatoes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the potatoes in halves and place them in a baking dish.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
- Pour the garlic butter over the potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Bake the potatoes for 25-30 minutes until tender and crispy.
- Meanwhile, cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add the steak bites. Sear until browned on all sides.
- Once the steak is cooked, mix it with the potatoes and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the steak while cooking.
