- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the rice and cook for a few minutes until lightly toasted.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add the salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for an additional 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork and stir in the parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can use broth instead of water for cooking the rice.
- Feel free to add vegetables such as peas or carrots for more nutrition.
