- 2 large cucumbers
- 1 pound fresh mozzarella balls
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the cucumbers into thick rounds and arrange them on a serving platter.
- Halve the cherry tomatoes and scatter them over the cucumbers.
- Add the mozzarella balls on top of the cucumbers and tomatoes.
- Tear the basil leaves and sprinkle them over the salad.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil over the entire salad.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, or chill for 15 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider marinating the cucumbers in olive oil and herbs for a few hours before assembling the salad.
