- 2 ripe pears
- 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the centers.
- In a bowl, mix the blue cheese, walnuts, honey, lemon juice, and parsley.
- Fill the pear halves with the cheese mixture.
- Place the stuffed pears on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the pears are tender.
- Serve warm as an appetizer.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute pecans for walnuts if preferred.
- For added flavor, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
