- 1 pound flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 3 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger.
- Add the flank steak to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the marinated beef strips until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add chopped green onions and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double fry the beef.
- Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of brown sugar.
