- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 cups chicken broth

- 1 tablespoon sage
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rinse the turkey under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the cavity with onion, garlic, and herbs.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
- Roast for 2 to 2.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
- Let it rest for 30 minutes before carving.

- For extra flavor, let the turkey marinate in the seasoning overnight.
