- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce for sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, soy sauce, green onion, and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly.
- Form mixture into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned.
- In a saucepan, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Once meatballs are done, pour sauce over them and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add ginger to the meat mixture.
- Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
