- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, Dijon mustard, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and brush half of the glaze over it.
- Roast the chicken for about 1 hour, basting it with the remaining glaze every 15 minutes.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) before removing from the oven.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Notes
- For a crispy skin, broil the chicken for a few minutes at the end of cooking.
- Use fresh herbs for additional flavor if desired.
