- 1 pound turkey bacon
- 1 onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups lasagna noodles broken into pieces
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until al dente.
- Stir in ricotta and mozzarella cheese until melted and combined.
- Serve hot, topped with chopped turkey bacon.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit turkey bacon.
- Top with extra cheese for a richer flavor.
