Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add heavy cream and stir in Italian seasoning. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add spinach and cooked bacon back to the skillet, stir, and let it wilt.
  7. Season with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or almond milk.
  • Serve with crusty bread for dipping in the sauce.
