- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a boil, then add the broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
