Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread pizza sauce over the dough, then sprinkle mozzarella and oregano on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
- For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
- You can substitute the mozzarella with other cheese types according to your preference.
