- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the cocoa powder, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
- Make sure to completely cool the cake before frosting.
