- 1 cup fresh blackberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the butter, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Stir in the buttermilk until well combined.
- Gently fold in the blackberries.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate.
- You can substitute blackberries with raspberries if desired.
